Job summary

Merck Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the Netherlands to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support Milli-Q water purification systems. You will work across the Benelux region with remote support and the Service organization, diagnostic expertise, and thorough documentation to ensure compliance and traceability.

The role emphasizes independent work, ISO-compliant processes, and collaboration with Sales and internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with root-cause analysis.
• ISO process and SOP compliance.
• Well-organized with documentation habits.
• Solid digital/IT skills and remote troubleshooting.
• Fluent Dutch and professional English.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel Benelux.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and support Milli-Q water purification systems.
• Diagnose complex technical issues across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and digital domains.
• Use digital tools and remote support to maximize first-time-fix performance.
• Prepare for interventions and document for compliance and traceability.
• Collaborate with Sales and internal teams to deliver excellent customer experiences.
