Job summary

SMA Benelux is seeking a Field Service Engineer LS to maintain, commission, troubleshoot, and repair SMA solar inverter systems across the Benelux region. You will ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime for customers, combining technical expertise with strong customer service.

In this role you will travel extensively within the Benelux region, handling both PV system commissioning and on-site diagnostics while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A2 degree in Electro-Mechanics or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years in installation, maintenance, or repair of electrical systems or power electronics.
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage systems and safety regulations.
• Experience with SAP and MS Office, IP networking basics.

Responsibilities

• Commission, inspect, maintain, and repair PV systems and SMA inverter tech.
• Diagnose and resolve on-site technical issues.
• Work with string and central inverter systems.
• Support customers with troubleshooting and inquiries.
• Manage service logistics and spare parts.
• Document activities and findings in SAP CRM.
• Ensure health, safety, and quality standards.
• Travel throughout the Benelux region to support installations.
