Job summary

Bromma in Rotterdam is seeking a Service Engineer to service our high‑complexity spreaders, driving on‑site installations and maintenance across the Benelux region.

You will travel across Benelux with occasional Europe travel to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and commissioning, while advising on parts, refurbishments and upgrades for customers. Fluency in English and Dutch is required; German is a merit.

Qualifications

• Background in Electronics, PLC Programming, or an equivalent technical field.
• Minimum 2 years of service or assembly experience with large industrial machinery.
• Ability to read and interpret complex electrical and mechanical drawings.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Dutch fluency required; German is a merit.
• Foundational knowledge of hydraulic and control systems; strong fault-diagnosis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform service operations, preventative maintenance, and warranty repairs on spreaders.
• Provide on-site commissioning, installation, and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Identify opportunities to suggest parts, refurbishments, and upgrades to support customers.
• Deliver technical training and knowledge sharing to customers.
• Maintain thorough documentation to ensure clear communication across teams.
• Travel across the Benelux region with occasional travel within Europe.
