Job summary

HITEC Power Protection in the Netherlands seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, test, and commission high-tech emergency power systems for our clients. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability, with on-site configuration and commissioning.

Travel nationally and internationally, collaborate with engineering, document the process, and take part in ongoing UPS technology training. A company car and a dynamic, growth-oriented team support your career development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Equivalent qualifications from Pre-vocational Secondary Education (MBO+) with 5+ years experience considered.
• Strong problem-solving and on-site troubleshooting skills required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and test mechanical and electrical systems on-site.

What You’ll Do

As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll install, test, and commission high-tech emergency power systems for our clients. You’ll ensure that our systems meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and reliability. Your day-to-day will involve:

Installing, configuring, and testing mechanical and electrical systems.

Troubleshooting technical issues on-site and collaborating with our engineering team for fast solutions.

Working closely with Field Service and Engineering colleagues to meet project goals and deadlines.

Documenting the commissioning process thoroughly for seamless handover and future reference.

We’re looking for a Field Service Engineer who brings:

• Technical Background: Bsc level in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years experience. Or equivalent qualifications from Pre-vocational Secondary Education (MBO+) with 5+ years experience.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You’re quick to identify issues and find effective solutions.
• Willingness to travel frequently: You’re ready to take on frequent national and international travel to work directly with clients on-site.
