Job summary

Reintjes Systems is seeking a Field Service Engineer who can work independently. You will regularly travel to customer sites across the Netherlands and abroad to install, commission, and maintain our machines and systems.

You hold a technical MBO diploma with a solid grasp of mechanical and electrical engineering, and you communicate well in English. When not on-site, you’ll assist in the workshop and help improve our products and services.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission machines and complete systems at customer sites.
• Analyze and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions.
• Perform service, maintenance, and technical modifications on existing machines.
• Test and optimize machines; train operators and staff.
• Support workshop activities when not on site, including building and testing machines.

Job description

Due to our continued growth, we’re looking for an enthusiastic Field Service Engineer who enjoys working independently, has strong technical skills, and thrives on variety. You’ll regularly travel to our customers’ sites both domestically and internationally to install, commission, and maintain our machines and systems.

What will you be doing?

• Installing and commissioning machines and complete systems at customer sites.
• Analyzing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and control system malfunctions.
• Performing service, maintenance, and technical modifications on existing machines.
• Testing and optimizing machines, and providing instruction and training to operators and technical staff.
• When you’re not on-site, you’ll assist in our workshop with building, testing, and preparing machines.

Who are you?

• You have a technical MBO diploma and an interest in mechanical engineering and industrial automation.
• You have an understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering; knowledge of PLC controls is a plus.
• You work independently, think in terms of solutions, and take responsibility for your work.
• You are customer-focused, a strong communicator, and can hold your own in English.
• You enjoy traveling regularly for projects and service work both domestically and abroad.
