Job summary

Field AI in Den Bosch (Netherlands) is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support deployment, testing, and client-facing operations of our robotic systems. This is an onsite role requiring travel to project sites and strong collaboration with engineers and clients.

You’ll deploy and operate drones, quadrupeds, or humanoid platforms, troubleshoot issues, and document results. A technical degree and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex technical topics for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently across the country.
• Up-to-date passport is preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work well in team-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance.
