Field AI in Den Bosch, Netherlands is seeking a Field Application Engineer to deploy and test robotic systems at client sites. This onsite role requires regular travel and close collaboration with engineers and customers to ensure successful field deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, strong communication, and hands-on robotics experience, with coding skills in Python or C++. Travel readiness and a proactive, team-oriented mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical topics to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the country.
• Up-to-date passport preferred for travel and site access.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate robotic systems in the field and support testing and data collection.
• Supervise remote operations and assist during client presentations and demos.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Document technical issues, test results, and client feedback in detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and contribute to workflow improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to iterate on system performance and usability.
