Job summary

QuantWare is seeking a Mid-Senior to Principal FPGA / Embedded Systems Engineer to join its quantum hardware program in Delft, Netherlands. The role focuses on designing high‑performance electronics and control systems at the interface of hardware, firmware and software.

The candidate will explore FPGA design, verification, embedded software (C/C++), and real‑time control in a collaborative, cross‑functional team within the quantum technology ecosystem.

FPGA / Embedded Systems Engineer - Quantum Technology

We're looking to connect with experienced FPGA and Embedded Systems Engineers interested in working at the intersection of advanced electronics, scientific computing and quantum technology.

Europe's quantum hardware ecosystem is growing rapidly and creating demand for engineers capable of designing the high-performance electronics and control systems required to operate increasingly sophisticated quantum systems.

Importantly, previous quantum computing experience isn't essential.

We're particularly interested in engineers from semiconductor, aerospace, defence, telecoms, robotics, scientific instrumentation and other complex hardware environments who would consider applying their expertise within quantum technology.
