Job summary

Buzz Power Banks is expanding its field operations team. You will install, test and maintain BUZZ stations across partner locations, ensuring fast time-to-first-rent and high uptime. The role blends on-site problem solving with field communications to support the business development team and partner onboarding.

You’ll work independently, manage visit routes, and contribute to regional growth with hands-on technical support and customer-facing coordination.

Qualifications

• Experience in field-based roles such as courier, field technician, installer, or merchandiser.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between locations.
• Comfort with basic hardware and diagnostics: POS terminals, chargers, cables, mobile apps.

Responsibilities

• Install BUZZ stations at partner locations (cafés, bars, restaurants, malls, hotels).
• Verify installation requirements and station visibility.
• Connect and test POS / Tap-to-Rent equipment and bring stations online.
• Test first rental to confirm proper operation.
• Submit installation reports via CRM or mobile tools.
• Perform routine field visits and troubleshoot station status, power banks, and signage.
• Accompany and support onboarding of new partners.
• Assist venues with setup and usage explanations.
• Log all activities in CRM/operations system and provide regular reports.
• Coordinate schedules and optimize travel routes.
• Maintain BUZZ standards across locations and monitor time-to-first-rent.

Job description

BUZZ is a fast-growing national power bank sharing network that combines a mobile app with Tap-to-Rent POS terminals.

Guests can rent a power bank in any BUZZ location - bars, cafés, restaurants, malls, hotels, airports - and return it anywhere across the network.

As we continue expanding rapidly across cities and regions, we’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on Field Executive to support installations, operations, and on‑site partner interactions. This is a critical role that ensures the BUZZ network works seamlessly on the ground.

Role Mission

Ensure flawless installation, maintenance, and on‑site performance of BUZZ stations, while supporting the Business Development team across the field.

This role is part operations, part light technical support, part partner‑facing work - ideal for someone who likes movement, communication, and independence.

What you will do

• Install BUZZ stations (6/12/24/48-slot units) at cafés, bars, restaurants, malls, hotels and other partner locations.
• Verify installation requirements: power socket access, correct placement, optimal visibility.
• Connect and test POS / Tap-to-Rent equipment; ensure the station goes online.
• Test first rental to confirm proper operation.
• Submit photo reports and installation details via CRM or mobile tools.

2. Technical maintenance & field Operations

• Perform routine visits to partner locations as per daily/weekly routes.
• Check and resolve:
• station online/offline status
• power bank availability
• POS terminal performance
• signage, branding and physical condition
• Replace cables, batteries, slots or hardware components when needed.
• Remove or relocate stations if required.
• Accompany and support the Business Development Manager during new partner onboarding.
• Help “close the deal on the spot” by answering basic operational questions from venue managers.
• Assist partners with initial setup, usage explanations, and troubleshooting.
• Collect operational feedback and share insights with BDM and Field Manager.

4. Reporting & administration

• Log every installation, move, fix or visit in the CRM/operations system.
• Provide structured daily/weekly reports to the Field Manager:
• completed tasks
• SLA compliance
• issues on locations
• suggestions for improving efficiency
• Optimize travel routes and coordinate schedules.

5. Maintain BUZZ Standards across all Locations

• Ensure every location meets BUZZ quality standards: installation quality, visibility, branding, uptime.
• Monitor early performance to ensure quick time-to-first-rent.
• Recommend adjustments for low-performing locations (premium placement, relocation, hardware check).

Who we’re looking for

Experience & Skills

• Experience in any field-based role: courier, field technician, merchandiser, onsite installer, support engineer, or similar.
• Valid driver’s license and confidence driving between locations.
• Comfortable working with basic hardware and simple diagnostics: POS terminals, chargers, cables, mobile apps.
• Experience communicating with venue staff - managers, administrators, mall representatives (HoReCa or retail is a plus).
• Familiarity with mobile tools, CRM apps or task management systems is beneficial.
