Hunkemöller B.V. is seeking a Creative AI Engineer in Hilversum to explore how generative AI can transform fashion marketing and operations.

You will start by analyzing current workflows and rapidly delivering production-ready AI solutions across image, video and text domains. You will work with creative directors, marketers and engineers, presenting trade-offs and ensuring outputs align with brand tone and rights.

Qualifications

• You have a track record of quickly picking up a new domain or tool and shipping something useful.
• Recent hands-on experience building with generative AI or creative technology with shipped work across at least two of image, video and text.
• Hands-on experience with Python, APIs and cloud platforms, prompt and retrieval design for language models, and image or video workflow tools such as ComfyUI.
• You have a strong eye for fashion imagery and an ear for brand tone, and can reject output off-brand.
• You have built solutions with monitoring, documentation and cost control, not only demos.
• You understand image rights, model likeness, consent and data privacy, and build those checks into the workflow.
• You can deliver what was asked, step by step, and bring stakeholders along.
• You have worked with creative directors, marketers and engineers, and can explain trade-offs clearly.
• You have strong written and verbal English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn the problem fast: understand current work and identify where generative AI adds measurable value.
• Build across image, video and text: create generative solutions for imagery, video, packaging visuals, translation and copywriting.
• Run in production: monitor output quality and running costs, fix issues in delivery.
• Protect brand and quality: ensure output meets brand voice, model likeness, and usage rights.
• Integrate with the business stack: connect to Adobe Experience Manager, Microsoft 365 and Google Cloud data platform.
• Compare tools fairly: run on-model vs external tools with consistent inputs and share results.
• Enable self-service: build templates and guidance for business teams within guardrails.
• Cover for the team: support AI Agent Engineer when needed to keep momentum.
