Job summary

IKEA Delft is seeking a Facility Manager to lead the Maintenance & Security teams, ensuring a safe, clean and sustainable store for coworkers and customers. You will connect people, processes and technology to maintain the environment and building.

You will manage budgets, collaborate with partners, and drive improvements while developing your team and embracing change. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of leadership experience within Facility Management, Maintenance or Building Management.
• Experience with contract management, suppliers and maintenance processes.
• Good knowledge of building management and relevant legislation and regulations.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Decisive, solution-oriented and able to lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Lead Facility Management services and manage external providers.
• Plan, develop and implement programmes to keep the store looking new (SISAN).
• Ensure safety, compliance and alignment with legislation and regulations with Fire Safety and Safety & Security.
• Maintain relationships with authorities and external partners.
• Manage the Facility Management budget and promote cost-conscious, sustainable solutions.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to support daily operations.
• Lead, coach and develop your team and foster open feedback.
