Job summary

Ruby Hotels in Amsterdam seeks a hands‑on maintenance technician to keep air conditioning, hot water, and safety systems running smoothly. You’ll handle repairs, monitor all hotel systems, and coordinate external service providers to ensure uninterrupted guest comfort.

The role requires a completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work and several years in a similar position. Fluency in Dutch is essential, with English a plus for guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Completed apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing or electrical work is a plus.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in Dutch; English skills are a plus to communicate with international guests.

Responsibilities

• Take care of maintenance tasks across the hotel, from small repairs to major repairs.
• Monitor technical systems and ensure everything runs smoothly.
• Coordinate external service providers and manage vendor relations.
• Perform painting and sealing work as needed throughout the hotel.
• Collaborate with the Corporate Office in Munich and housekeeping teams.
• Monitor maintenance and safety checks and report issues to the Maintenance Manager.
• Order materials required for work in consultation with the Hotel Manager.
