Job description

Facility Coordinator – Amsterdam Area – Up to €4,100 Gross per Month (Based on 40 Hours)

Are you a proactive professional who enjoys taking responsibility and seeing tangible results from your work?

For an international player in the logistics and supply chain industry, we are looking for a flexible Facility Coordinator who is confident, resilient, and energized by a varied role where no two days are the same. In this position, you will serve as the vital link between colleagues, suppliers, and contractors, ensuring the working environment operates at its best.

This organization offers you the opportunity to showcase and further develop your talents within a positive and supportive work environment. You will work alongside a dedicated team and play a key role in creating a safe, efficient, and pleasant workplace for all employees.

What We Offer
  • Salary: Up to €4,100 gross per month based on a 40-hour work week, depending on experience. Weekly or four-weekly payroll is available, equivalent to a maximum gross hourly rate of €23.65.
  • Benefits: Travel allowance of €0.25 per kilometer (up to € 16,49 per day), 3.5 ADV days (working time reduction) based on 40 hours, 24 vacation days, 8% holiday allowance, and a pension scheme.
  • Location: Amsterdam and surrounding area (on-site).

  • Start Date: As soon as possible.
Your Role

As a Facility Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring all facility-related processes run smoothly within the organization. You will maintain a visible presence on the work floor, oversee maintenance activities, coordinate external parties, and ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and according to agreed standards.

What makes this role especially attractive is the combination of hands‑on work and coordination. Approximately 75% of your responsibilities consist of operational and practical tasks, while 25% focus on administration, planning, and coordination. This means you will not be sitting behind a desk all day, but actively contributing to workplace improvements on a daily basis.

This variety provides excellent opportunities to further develop both your technical/practical skills and your organizational capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily maintenance and repair activities.
  • Supervise and manage external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Monitor the quality of cleaning, catering, and maintenance services.
  • Prepare work orders and verify contract compliance.
  • Oversee schedules, progress, and quality of ongoing work.
  • Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
  • Coordinate internal relocations, workplace setups, and refurbishment projects.
  • Manage facility inventories and consumable supplies.
  • Place orders and issue work requests through the ERP system.
  • Identify and resolve facility-related issues and bottlenecks.
  • Maintain reports, records, and documentation.
  • Actively contribute to process improvements within facility management services.
Who Are We Looking For?

You are someone who enjoys rolling up your sleeves, maintaining oversight, and taking ownership. You like organizing and coordinating activities, have a practical mindset, and can easily switch between different tasks and stakeholders.

In addition, you have:

  • MBO-level education and thinking ability, preferably in a facilities management or technical discipline.
  • Conversational Dutch language skills and conversational English speaking skills for effective daily communication with colleagues, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP.
  • A flexible mindset and a willingness to work beyond a standard 9-to-5 mentality.
  • Experience in a facilities, technical, or service-oriented role.
