Job summary

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Deventer, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts, invites you to start your hospitality career as a Food & Beverage Trainee. You will gain hands-on experience by serving guests and contributing to breakfast, lunch and dinner service.

This internship includes practical training in both bar and restaurant operations, with meals on duty and opportunities to grow within Vertiq Hospitality Partners and the IHG portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day bar and restaurant operations to meet guest expectations.
• Take, prepare, and serve orders from coffees to meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Resolve guest questions and complaints per hotel standards.
• Ensure all servicing and kitchen equipment are clean and well maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness of fridges, dishes, and dining areas.
• Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the day-to-day operations of the bar & restaurant to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, standards and aiming at satisfying and exceeding our guest’s expectations.
• Taking, preparing, and serving orders varying from cocktails, coffees to dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Resolve customer complaints promptly and according to our hotel standards.
• Making sure that all servicing & kitchen equipment are clean, well maintained and meet all hygiene, health and safety regulations paying special attention to possible health hazards and code violations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the fridges, dishes and overall bar and restaurant furniture.
• Collaborate with front office to ensure a seamless and enjoyable guest experience.
