Job summary

nhow Rotterdam is seeking an on-call Food & Beverage Employee to deliver authentic hospitality in our art-inspired hotel. You’ll support the restaurant and banqueting, engaging with international guests and showcasing the nhow experience.

Join a team that values flexibility, a genuine guest focus, and a passion for food and wine. English is essential, Dutch is a plus, and prior hospitality exposure helps you thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant (international) work experience as waiter in a restaurant or in the upscale hospitality industry is an advantage.
• You have a good command of the English language; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Arrive at the Food and Beverage office for handover with the morning shift and evening supervisor.
• Set up the restaurant and/or bar and prepare the dinner mise en place.
• Support the Meeting & Event breaks if necessary.
• Enjoy dinner with colleagues and provide the guest with knowledge of food and wine.
• Close the restaurant and assist with setting up meeting rooms for the following morning.
• Deliver a room service to guests and polish glassware in the pantry.
