NH Hotels & Resorts in the Netherlands seeks an F&B Employee to manage restaurant and banqueting tasks as part of a nights-and-evenings operation. You’ll be an authentic host engaging with national and international guests, delivering flawless service with a smile.

You’ll work with a team to set up, serve, and close the restaurant, sharing your passion for food and beverage and contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Qualifikationen

• You are a hard worker with an eye for detail and see a challenge in every situation.
• You have a passion for food and beverage. Experience as waiter in a restaurant or in the hospitality industry and a relevant education are useful, but not the most important for us.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English language.
• You love to share your passion and knowledge for food and beverage with our guests and colleagues.

Aufgaben

• Set up the restaurant and/or bar and prepare the dinner mise en place.
• Support Meeting & Event breaks as needed during service.
• Seat guests and provide the perfect dining experience with knowledge of food and wine.
• Deliver room service to regular guests when required during service.
• Close the restaurant and assist with banqueting setup for the following morning.
• Polish glassware and prepare the bar for late service and handover.
• Count cash at the end of shift and participate in handover with the team.

Your Role at a Glance

14:45You arrive, with a cup of coffee, at the Food and Beverage office for the handover with the morning shift and evening supervisor.
15:00After the handover, you and your colleagues set up the restaurant and/or bar and prepare the dinner mise en place.
16:00If necessary, you support your colleague with the Meeting & Event breaks.
17:00Enjoy your dinner with your colleagues and recharge for another busy evening.
18:00The à la carte restaurant is open, and you seat the first guests.
18:30Together with your colleagues you will provide the perfect experience for the guests with your knowledge of food and wine.
21:00In between the service, you quickly deliver a room service to one of the regular guests.
22:00The restaurant is closed and while your colleagues are preparing everything for the following morning. You will support your colleague from the banqueting by setting up the meeting rooms for the following morning.
23:45The last round is done in the bar, and you are polishing the final glassware in the pantry.
00:00You enjoy a closing drink at the end of your shift with the team, while your colleague from the bar completes the final tasks, counts the cash register, and writes and sends the handover.
