QuantWare seeks an Experimental Quantum Engineer - R&D to sit at the center of our cryogenic hardware efforts. You will operate and elevate state-of-the-art cryogenic measurement setups, characterise new R&D prototypes, and drive data-driven hypotheses with cross-functional teams.

You will develop Python-based automation for high-throughput measurements, analyse results, and contribute to reliability studies as throughput grows. A hybrid work model and strong growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• MSc in Physics, Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (PhD a plus).
• Hands-on cryogenic experience with dilution refrigerators, pulse-tube or 4 K systems.
• Experience with microwave/RF measurements for superconducting qubits.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and automation; Git version control.

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain QuantWare's cryogenic measurement setups to stay state-of-the-art.
• Develop Python-based routines for high-throughput device characterisation and control.
• Characterise novel R&D prototypes and analyse data to inform cross-disciplinary teams.
• Design and execute experiments and reliability studies to scale throughput.
• Document experiments, pipelines, and reporting for knowledge sharing.
