Job summary
Siemens Gamesa in the Netherlands is seeking an Experienced Para-Professional Wind Technician to perform hands-on turbine maintenance and repairs at the Lemmer wind farm. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and fix mechanical and electrical issues to keep turbines running reliably while adhering to safety and reporting standards.

Qualifications
- Vocational or technical qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical systems, maintenance and diagnostics.
- Experience as a technician in power generation, heavy machinery, or renewables.
- GWO certification held or eligible.
- BST certification.
- English proficiency.
Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on wind turbines per guidelines.
- Execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic repairs with tools.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot faults using SCADA data and site checks.
- Follow EH&S protocols, especially with high-voltage gear.
- Complete detailed service reports and contribute to safety culture.
