Job summary

Valcon NL is seeking an experienced Collibra/data governance consultant to help clients build a robust data foundation and enable a data-driven organisation.

You will own Collibra implementations, tailor operating models, and work with teams across data, technology and business to deliver measurable governance improvements.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience implementing Collibra.
• Collibra certifications (Solution Architect level, Ranger preferred).
• Extensive hands-on Collibra implementations for large enterprises.
• Experience with Data Management frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK).
• Strong teamwork and stakeholder management with excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and advise on Collibra Operating and Asset Models.
• Lead integration of Collibra within client Data Landscapes via Edge, API or other methods.
• Configure and deploy edge site to harvest metadata and lineage.
• Design and develop workflows for Collibra-governed processes.
• Collaborate with Valcon colleagues on Data Governance engagements.

You will work as part of the Data Governance team of Valcon NL to help our clients get their data foundation in great shape; ready and flexible to respond to the future.

Your Collibra expertise will help our clients in their data-driven journey by unlocking the potential of well-governed data.

What will you do?

Your responsibilities include:

• Deploy, configure and advise on the Operating Model and Asset Model within Collibra, tailored to the needs of our clients;
• Take ownership of technically integrating Collibra within the Data Landscape of our clients, via Edge, API or other methods;
• Configure and deploy the edge site to harvest metadata and technical lineage within the data landscape;
• Design and develop workflows for the crucial Data Governance processes orchestrated by Collibra;
• Your work will typically work with other Valcon colleagues as part of a wider Data Governance engagement, including organisational, people, process, data and technology change.

Experience

• At least three years of experience implementing Collibra
• Collibra certifications (minimum Solution Architect level, Collibra Ranger certification is highly preferred)
• Extensive hands‑on experience leading complex Collibra implementations for large enterprise organizations.
• Experience on Data Management frameworks (e.g. DAMA-DMBOK)
• Strong in a team and with stakeholders, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Fluency in Dutch and English
