Executive Product Manager, General Design (CAD)

Bricsys, is seeking an innovative Executive Product Manager responsible for defining the current and future positioning of BricsCAD General Design product, as well as formulating a strategy for its development.

This role demands a strong commitment to delivering exceptional value to customers, aligning closely with our company's overarching objectives, and ultimately ensuring that our products thrive in the market and achieve sales success.

The candidate for this position must be a proven team leader and is expected to cultivate a culture of innovation within the product team, encouraging creative thinking and exploration of new methodologies

The role is offered on a full-time, regular contract basis. Weekly travel to Gent/ Belgium, with overnight stays, is required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Strategic Leadership and Market Alignment. Define and communicate a compelling product vision and strategy that aligns with company objectives.
Product Positioning. Define the target audience, product functionalities, and unique selling propositions to guide product positioning.
Roadmap Development. Provide regular updates and strategic guidance to Product Owners to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
Customer-Centric Strategy and Vision. Establish and maintain a customer-centric product strategy, continuously refining it based on market insights and technological possibilities.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Communication. Ensure alignment with senior management and collaborate and communicate seamlessly across departments for unified product messaging.
Performance Monitoring and Iterative Improvement. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure ongoing product success.

Profile:

Degree in engineering or related field.
10+ years’ experience in team leadership - with direct reports - with an emphasis on commercial software application development and sales.
Experience in CAD software business.
Expert knowledge of 2D CAD, 3D CAD and collaboration technology toolsets (eg. Siemens, Autodesk, Dassault, etc).
Ability to identify and articulate value-driven design-to-documentation workflows for Building Construction, Discrete Manufacturing, and Civil Survey industries.
Knowledge of sales processes and pragmatic marketing best practices.
Great problem-solving skills and business acumen.
Self-motivated with good organizational and time management skills.
