We are currently looking for a:

Project controller (part-time/ 16 hours a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - At least 2 days/week onsite)

This role is based in Oss (The Netherlands).

Purpose of the role

The Oss location is one of the major manufacturing facilities of our new company. We are a brand-new spin-off company with worldwide already 10.000+ people employed. We are focused on women's health and fully dedicated to helping our patients with our products. In Oss we produce and pack tablets, vials, and polymeric products like Nexplanon and NuvaRing in a state-of-the-art GMP environment. The company is characterized by a dynamic and proactive feel and approach and endorses a good work life balance.

We are looking for temporary extension of our team for a larger, multi-disciplined and long-term project and have a position as a Project Controller. He/she will be working with approximately five project managers to ensure the project is adequately in control with regard to costs, schedule, and risks. The position is a part-time position for 16 hours per week and will have a duration of minimal one year with possibilities for extending.

Engineering & strategy is a Center of Excellence within Pharmaceutical Operations. You report directly to the portfolio manager/ overall project manager of the specific project and will contribute to realizing manufacturing capacity.

Main responsibilities

• Organizing project control for a multi-disciplinary pharmaceutical project >50M€ with multiple project managers.
• Responsible for cost control of the project based on actuals, commitments in SAP and provides estimates to complete by project management.
• Responsible for tracking interfaces between workstream schedules of the project based on schedules delivered by project management.
• Responsible for tracking and communication of risks within the project management team.
• Developing a presentable overall project status board and delivery of required data for higher level management.
• Ensuring periodic updates of costs, schedules and risks and being able to support the project managers with up-to-date data with regard to costs, schedule, and risks.
• Coordinate with and gather input from the project managers for periodic updates.
• Building strong relations with the project managers.
• Develop cost control systems which ensure updated estimates at completion and allows target value design.
• Develop S-curves for soft and engineering costs.
• Ensuring interfaces are clearly visible in schedules and developing slip charts.
• Developing risk managements processes with project managers.
• Ensuring updated risk registers and escalating risks to appropriate project organization levels.

Your profile

• HBO (Polytechnics) work and thinking level.
• Experience in industrial implementation projects; (pharma or food industry is preferred).
• Experience with multi-disciplined projects.
• Safety First and Quality Always mindset.
• Self-propelled, independent, ability to prioritize.
• Proactive attitude and ensuring collaboration with the project managers.
• Service and customer oriented.
• Communicate in Dutch and English (both verbal and in writing).
• Experience with MS project.
• Experience with SAP is preferable.
