Are you a creative go-getter who wants to help build real-life community and know what it takes to organize unique events and experiences? Do you get energy from bringing people together, have top-notch planning and organisation skills, love figuring things out hands-on, and want real ownership from day one? If so, we'd love for you to join The Offline Club as our Events Intern, starting in October/November 2026, for a period of at least 5 months (and at least four days a week).

About The Offline Club

At The Offline Club, our mission is to reconnect people with themselves and others by building real-world communities and curating authentic, offline events experiences - for individual guests and for brand. We aim to reinvent the way we interact with our phones, and each other.

We are a global community-first organization with headquarters in Amsterdam, with values that guide everything we do:

  • Community-first: We prioritize the needs and wishes of our community, ensuring they feel valued and heard.
  • Learning by doing: We embrace experimentation, see failure as growth, and show up with openness and vulnerability.
  • Positivity: We focus on possibilities, bring positive energy, and act as a force for good.
  • Empowerment: We trust and equip others with the tools and autonomy to grow and thrive.
Your Responsibilities

As our Events Intern, you'll be involved in every stage of bringing an Offline Club event to life, from the first idea to the last person leaving the venue, and from a small-scale community event to large-scale branded events. Your responsibilities will include:

Concept & Production
  • Concept development and asset creation for new event formats and creative programming.
  • Assist in event production, from planning to logistics.
  • Support day-of operations, making sure our biggest events runs smoothly.
  • Help with pre-event production and post-event wrap-up, including debriefs and follow-ups.
Hosting, Venues & Community
  • Assist in event hosting, helping create a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our community.
  • Coordinate volunteers for large events, from recruitment to briefing to day-of support.
  • Scout new event venues and manage relationships.
Global Support
  • Help build our global City Leader Guide by creating template event content and assets
What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is studying events, or is interested in pursuing a career in events, especially in a community-focused context.
  • Is fluent in both Dutch (preference, no requirement) and English, written and verbal.
  • Is creative, hands-on, and a genuine go-getter.
  • Has a proactive, solution-oriented, and independent working style.
  • Embraces a learning-by-doing mindset and thrives in a dynamic, evolving environment.
What We Offer
  • A paid internship at an intern-salary, based on your time commitment and previous experience.
  • The opportunity to help grow a fast-growing, global offline movement and work directly with the Club's founders and international City Leaders.
  • A dynamic, young, and entrepreneurial work environment with space for creativity, ownership and fun.
  • Hands-on experience across every part of event production, from concept to execution.
  • A role where your ideas and actions directly contribute to our mission and community growth.
  • Free, healthy (vegetarian) lunch and a beautiful office in the heart of Amsterdam.
