Job summary

Resthaven is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with kitchen preparation and meal service for residents and guests. The role emphasizes high standards of customer satisfaction, sanitation, and teamwork in a faith-based not-for-profit setting.

The position offers weekday evening hours (4:00 PM - 7:00 PM) with rotating weekend shifts, and a pay range of $15–$16.50 per hour based on experience and licensure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare beverages, fruits, salads, desserts and assist with food preparation as needed.
• Set up dining room tables for meal service.
• Follow resident menus when preparing room trays or serving in the dining room.
• Take tableside meal orders and deliver food to residents in a timely, courteous manner.
• Deliver nourishments to resident units as required.
• Wash dishes and maintain sanitation in dining areas and kitchen.
