Job summary

ENTER bv in Eindhoven seeks an Embedded System Owner to coordinate hardware and software development for BEV/PHEV powertrains. You will own ECUs, manage cross-functional teams and suppliers, and drive QCTP-focused project delivery in an international engineering setting.

The role requires a strong background in automotive embedded systems, V-cycle processes and DFSS knowledge, with a proactive approach to collaboration and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automotive Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in control system or embedded system development, preferably within the automotive industry.
• At least 2 years of experience in a coordinating technical role; project lead is an advantage.
• Experience with supplier management and working with external engineering partners.
• Knowledge of embedded system development processes according to the V-cycle.
• Knowledge of Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) methodology is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to critically assess technical solutions.
• A proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Good command of the English language.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate hardware and software development and take ownership of the Embedded System and ECU development and integration within BEV and PHEV powertrains.
• Define risk analyses and validation plans and create, monitor and report on project plans for both hardware and software development.
• Ensure that technical definitions remain aligned with architectures and strategies while addressing potential discrepancies.
• Manage suppliers and coordinate technical activities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress in terms of Quality, Cost, Timing and Performance (QCTP) and report risks clearly.
• Organize and participate in supplier and internal project meetings and facilitate effective communication and decision-making.
