Prodrive Technologies in Eindhoven is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to high‑tech power conversion and electronics platforms. You will design, implement, and validate software for MCU/FPGA subsystems, collaborating with architects and multidisciplinary teams.

The role emphasizes ownership of features from requirements to validation, with a focus on real‑time performance, reliability, and TLS integration, bootloaders, and network utilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant technical field.
• 5+ years of embedded software experience in complex environments.
• Strong programming skills in C and Python.
• Experience with FreeRTOS or other RTOS.
• Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Jira.

Responsibilities

• Develop a sub-system software platform for MCU/FPGA-based products.
• Design, implement and validate software from requirements to validation.
• Create network utilities library (DHCP client, DNS resolver, mDNS).
• Integrate TLS encryption (Mbed-TLS) for secure communications.
• Develop firmware update procedure and bootloader.
• Take end-to-end ownership of software features and subsystems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
