Job summary

EMEA Recruitment is partnering exclusively with a leading international industrial manufacturing organization to recruit an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to join its European Commercial team. This is a unique opportunity to develop secondary material supply across Europe, working closely with manufacturing operations and commercial stakeholders to maximise value in a complex international network.

Regular travel is required and the role offers significant autonomy and international

Qualifications

• 8-10 years' experience within metals, recycling, refining, chemicals or another industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience sourcing industrial raw materials or commodities.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
• An understanding of secondary raw material or recycling markets would be highly advantageous.
• Excellent analytical and relationship-building abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing strategies for secondary raw materials across Europe
• Build and manage relationships with suppliers, recyclers and industry partners
• Identify new commercial opportunities through market analysis and supplier engagement
• Negotiate commercial contracts and long-term supply agreements.
• Partner with manufacturing and commercial teams to optimize material sourcing strategies
• Monitor commodity and recycling markets to identify trends and commercial opportunities
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the European commercial sourcing strategy
