Job summary

Yokogawa in Amersfoort is seeking a Business Process Transformation Specialist – Logistics to support the European logistics organization. You analyse operational challenges, map current and future processes, and drive change initiatives to strengthen logistics performance across the region.

You will lead root-cause analyses, develop refined procedures aligned with strategy and compliance, plan improvement projects with stakeholders, and build clear business cases with cost–benefit and ROI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, including 2+ years in a project management or process improvement role.
• Experience coordinating project teams or workstreams.
• Structured, analytical thinker who uses data to drive root-cause analysis.
• Process modelling and mapping skills.
• Clear communicator who can facilitate discussions with stakeholders at multiple levels.
• Strong organization and ability to deliver under deadlines.
• Proficiency with project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational challenges in the logistics organization and identify root causes
• Develop and refine logistics procedures and keep them aligned with organizational strategy, compliance requirements and company policies
• Drive change initiatives that strengthen logistics performance across the region, from analysis through implementation
• Map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, assess gaps and recommend practical solutions
• Build the business case for improvements, including cost-benefit and ROI
• Plan and coordinate improvement projects with departments, suppliers and stakeholders: timelines, milestones, resources and progress reporting
• Identify risks to the projects you run and put mitigation in place
• Facilitate requirements sessions and stakeholder discussions
• Example initiative: creating synergy between local operating companies (business units) across Europe with regards to logistics activities and processes.
