Michael Page is assisting a leading international manufacturing organization in Moerdijk to fill the European Freight Manager a.i. role. You will optimize freight across Europe, lead carriers and 3PLs, and ensure service excellence while driving cost efficiency.

The successful candidate will manage budgets, monitor KPIs, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Operations, and Finance to support strategic logistics initiatives. The position is hybrid with an ASAP start for a 6-month contract.

Competenze

Experience in freight/transport/logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of road, ocean, and warehousing logistics.
Experience managing carriers, freight forwarders, and providers.
Proven ability to manage costs, budgets, and KPIs.

Mansioni

Manage and optimize freight operations across Europe to ensure service excellence and cost efficiency.
Lead relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, brokers, and 3PLs.
Monitor transport performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and manage freight budgets, reporting on spend and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee third-party warehouse partners and ensure contract service levels.
