Job summary

Avantor is seeking a commercially astute Sr. Portfolio Manager for the VWR Brand Equipment & Instruments EU. You will own the full portfolio lifecycle from concept to phaseout, shaping the product vision and driving growth across Europe.

Lead cross-functional initiatives with marketing, sourcing, operations, e-commerce and regulatory teams to strengthen Avantor's competitive position. You will develop and execute portfolio strategy, monitor financial metrics, and deliver differentiated value to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree in business or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of three years in strategic marketing, product management, or related fields.
• Safety certifications preferred but not required (ASP, CSP, or others).

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the VWR portfolio strategy to increase market share.
• Track financial and operational metrics for the portfolio.
• Develop strategic marketing programs and identify trends.
• Manage product lifecycle including supplier onboarding and pricing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet revenue goals.
• Engage with senior management on markets and customer segmentation.
• Attend industry trade shows to learn about developments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
