Job summary

Ebusco is seeking an experienced Homologation Engineer to lead EU COP and CoC processes across manufacturing sites in Europe. You will manage WVTA type-approvals, coordinate authority audits, and drive continuous regulatory tracking. Strong collaboration with Design, QA and Production is required to embed compliance in the line.

Fluency in English is required; Dutch or German is a plus. Travel to international production locations may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in automotive, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of automotive homologation experience with EU WVTA focus.
• Deep knowledge of EU Regulation 2018/858 and GSR II.
• Strong understanding of IATF 16949/ISO 9001 and COP audit methodologies.
• Proficiency with CoC generation databases, ERP systems (SAP), and data exchange formats (XML).

Responsibilities

• COP Management: design, implement and maintain COP control plans across manufacturing sites.
• eCoC Management: own creation, data validation and digital signing of eCoC and Initial Registration data.
• Authority Interface: primary contact for European Technical Services and Approval Authorities during COP audits.
• Regulatory Tracking: monitor and implement updates to EU and UNECE regulations.
• Non-Conformity Resolution: lead root-cause analyses and corrective actions for deviations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with Design, QA and Plant Operations to embed compliance in the line.
