Job summary

DENSO Europe seeks a Customs Specialist to strengthen compliance across EU-PCL. You will safeguard accurate declarations, manage LTSD/CoO, and support audits across our European manufacturing network. A practical background in EU customs and strong stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Based in the Netherlands, you will translate regulatory changes into actionable controls, drive standardization, and support daily import/export activities within a global automotive supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or HBO in Logistics, Customs, Law or Intl Trade or equivalent customs experience.
• Strong knowledge of EU customs regulations, import/export processes and origin rules.
• Experience in manufacturing/European distribution is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard accurate, timely, and compliant customs declarations and related processes.
• Provide central support for import/export, transit, bonded warehouse, and compliance activities.
• Maintain tariff classifications, origin data, values, and Incoterms documentation.
• Coordinate LTSD, CoO, and origin documentation; support audits and inquiries.
• Translate EU customs changes into practical controls and improvements.
• Act as escalation point for holds, missing confirmations, and broker issues.
• Collaborate with plants, warehouses, transport, brokers, finance, and sales.
