Job summary

Avy is seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Manager to join our Flight Operations team in Amsterdam. The role covers risk analysis, regulatory liaison, and developing compliant drone operations across Europe.

You will work on SORA-based approvals, flight plans, and advisory projects with Avy and customers. You will stay current with EASA and ICAO updates, maintain contact with authorities, and help Avy scale safe VTOL drone flights across Europe.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years in UAS or regulatory/compliance sector.
• 2+ years in related field and understanding of drone regulations.
• Strong English and Dutch proficiency, written and spoken.
• EU citizenship or EU work permit.

Responsibilities

• Define, design and arrange approval for new types of operations with the SORA methodology.
• Support with, check & approve flight plans with Avy pilots.
• Act as contact between Avy and aviation authorities (ILT, LVNL, EASA).
• Conduct advisory projects for Avy and its customers.
• Understand and work with Avy’s LUC.
• Stay updated on EASA releases and ensure compliant operations.
• Compare and work with drone regulations worldwide.
