Job summary

GCB Cocoa, a leading cocoa processor and supplier, seeks a Supply Chain Compliance Officer in Amsterdam to ensure EU regulatory compliance for incoming shipments. You will manage documentation, perform EUDR due diligence via TRACES NT, and coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in agri-commodity trade or customs compliance, strong attention to detail, and fluency in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years' experience in agri-commodity trade operations or customs compliance.
• Hands-on experience with EU customs import procedures and related documentation.
• Experience engaging with suppliers or trading counterparties to collect and verify compliance docs.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end compliance review of incoming cocoa shipments and ensure accurate documentation.
• Prepare and submit EUDR due diligence statements via TRACES NT.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and port operators to resolve issues and ensure clearance.
• Verify tariff classifications, phytosanitary certificates, and related documents against shipment records.
• Support supplier due diligence, geolocation data management, and risk assessment for GCB Europe.
