Job summary

AFS Energy in Amsterdam seeks a commercially driven Sales Trader to build a client portfolio in the EU ETS market. You’ll acquire and manage relationships, onboard clients to Viridian, and execute trades in line with compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 0-3 years of experience in a sales-focused role (Sales Trader, Broker, or Business Development).
• Fluent English & Italian.
• Highly competitive, energetic, proactive, and persistent.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Building: focus on building client portfolio through cold calling, networking at international conferences, and meetings.
• Platform & Trading Activation: onboard new clients onto Viridian, generate trading volume and execute trades in line with compliance.
• Cross-Selling: expand client relationships by cross-selling other environmental and energy products.
• CRM & Market Intelligence: use CRM to manage outreach, track prospects, and research EU ETS trends.
