Qualifications

• PhD in Philosophy completed by the starting date.
• active research profile in ethics and political philosophy.
• ability to teach ethics and political philosophy at bachelor’s and master’s level.

Responsibilities

• conduct internationally relevant research in ethics and political philosophy.
• publish research in journals, books, or edited volumes.
• actively pursue external research funding for early-career researchers.
• teach bachelor’s and master’s courses in ethics and political philosophy.
• supervise theses in relevant programmes (PPE, Ethics, Economics and Policy, Philosophy, Bioethics and Health).
• develop, coordinate, and evaluate courses and curricula.
• participate in the Ethics Group, Department of Philosophy, and John Stuart Mill College.
• undertake administrative responsibilities within the Department.
