Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Equipment Engineer for the LV Operations facility in Sassenheim, NL. The role focuses on general equipment and Upstream Processing (USP) with responsibility for safety, reliability, and process improvements in a high‑quality biopharma setting.

You will own systems, perform acute troubleshooting, and support cGMP batches, collaborating with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering to ensure first‑time-right production. English and Dutch language requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in biotechnology, biochemistry, biomedicine, or process technology (or equivalent).
• Experience in biotechnology/biopharmaceutical manufacturing (3–4 years) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support production in cGMP batches with equipment knowledge and system ownership.
• Qualifications and documentation: ensure validation state, up-to-date docs, and maintained equipment.
• Lead improvements to safety, quality, reliability, and efficiency of equipment and processes.
• Coordinate with Operations, Maintenance and Engineering teams across sites to ensure smooth production.
