Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, standards, and safe working procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Dutch legislation and company HSE requirements.
• Assess and mitigate complex operational safety risks.
• Advise management on effective risk control measures.
• Manage and improve standards relating to PPE, work permits, machine safety, and RI&E.
• Support incident investigations, audits, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Act as a key HSE advisor to management, HSEQ teams, and site personnel.
• Drive the ongoing development of HSE and management systems.

I’m currently supporting an international organisation in their search for an experienced HVK Officer to join their team on a permanent basis near Haarlem, Netherlands.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a major processing plant environment, working closely with operational and maintenance teams to drive safety performance, compliance, and continuous improvement across site operations. Experience within industrial, chemical, manufacturing, energy, or SEVESO-regulated environments would be highly advantageous.
