Job summary

Jobster in Breda zoekt een CNC Milling Machinist die alle productie‑fasen beheert bij de CNC‑machine. Je werkt met minstens drie verschillende CNC‑machines en onderhoudt nauwe afstemming met de CNC Programmeur en de Manufacturing Engineer.

Je zorgt voor veilige, efficiënte productie volgens hoge kwaliteitsnormen. Je werkt met 4‑asige en 5‑asige machines, mainly van stainless steel, en voert zelf kwaliteitscontroles uit.

Qualifications

• MBO 3/4 in Machining/Metalworking vereist.
• Reading/interpreting technical drawings is vereist.
• Ervaring met CNC‑bewerkingen en verschillende machines.
• Kennis van machine- en gereedschapsinstelling is vereist.
• Nauwkeurig, gestructureerd en veilig werken.

Responsibilities

• Voorbereiden en instellen van machines op basis van tekeningen en werkorders.
• Delen van onderdelen produceren met 4‑assige/5‑assige CNC‑machines.
• Kwaliteitscontroles uitvoeren en levertijden volgen.
• Teamcoördinatie en interne transport / logistiek binnen de ploeg.
• Ondersteunen en begeleiden van collega’s en stagiaires.
• Bijdragen aan verbeteringen in productietechnieken.

Job description

Wat je gaat doen

As a CNC Milling Machinist, you will be responsible for the entire production process at the CNC machine. You are able to work with at least three different CNC machines and work closely with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer. You ensure that complex components are produced safely, efficiently and according to high quality standards.

• Work preparation and machine setup: You read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, work orders and ISO programs. You set up the CNC machines and tools and ensure that materials and tools are correctly secured.
• CNC machining: You mill one-off parts, complex products and welded constructions using 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines with Siemens control systems. You mainly work with stainless steel, but also with plastics, steel and other materials.
• Quality and production: You inspect your own work, monitor quality, delivery times and standard times, and ensure that orders are fully completed and components are finished according to the applicable standards.
• Organisation and internal transport: You participate in work meetings and daily start-up meetings, coordinate activities within the team and carry out the required internal transport using, for example, a forklift or overhead crane.
• Maintenance and guidance: You perform first-line maintenance and, where necessary, support and guide colleagues, employees and interns within the team.
• Continuous improvement: You contribute ideas regarding the manufacturability and producibility of products. In addition, you discuss the approach to activities and any potential issues with the Production Manager, Manufacturing Engineer and/or CNC Programmer.
• Product development: You work together with the CNC Programmer and Manufacturing Engineer on the transition from prototype to pilot series and ultimately to production release.

• You have an MBO level 3 or 4 qualification, preferably in Machining/Metalworking;
