Job summary

European School The Hague is seeking a Language Support Specialist for English to join the Support Team on a 0.70 FTE basis. The role focuses on English language support with a starting date of 01.11.2026 or as soon as possible, under the CAO VO framework.

The candidate should hold a Bachelor’s in English and CELTA, be fully qualified for secondary education in the country of qualification, and reside in the Netherlands with a valid work permit.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (Hons) in English Language / English Literature.
• Fully qualified teacher status for Secondary Education in the country of qualification.
• CELTA (or equivalent).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (native English speaker or CEFR C2).
• Living in the Netherlands with a working permit.
