Job summary

Rosewood Hotel Group is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Amsterdam to lead the engineering team, oversee daily maintenance, and ensure the highest safety and reliability of building systems throughout the property.

You will supervise technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance, and collaborate with departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a luxury setting. A hands-on leader who trains others and thrives in a fast-paced hotel environment is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience in engineering, maintenance, or facilities operations.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical).
• Problem-solving mindset with ability to troubleshoot technical issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support daily Engineering team activities to ensure efficient operations.
• Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance across the property.
• Ensure effective operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and life safety systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, technical issues, and emergencies.
• Perform regular inspections and proactively address potential concerns.
• Coach and develop engineering associates to strengthen team capability.
