Job summary

Doghouse Recruitment in Utrecht is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead an expanding SaaS engineering team. You will work closely with the tech lead to shape the future engineering organization, fostering ownership and high performance while balancing management with hands-on technical leadership.

The role focuses on coaching 4-6 engineers, improving delivery collaboration with Product, and establishing clear ownership and efficient ways of working as the organization scales from

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering teams.
• Experience scaling, restructuring or splitting engineering teams.
• A hands-on mindset (approx. 50% management / 50% technical).
• Strong communication in English and ability to connect technology, product and business.
• Background in C#/.NET and Azure preferred; experience with DevOps, Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
