Job summary

Suitsupply in Amsterdam seeks a Tech Lead who can own the technical health of a domain, steer architectures, and stay hands-on. You’ll drive event-driven designs, ensure security, scalability, and maintainability, and mentor engineers while collaborating with product and business stakeholders.

You’ll work with .NET on Azure, lead AI-powered development, and guide integrations with Salesforce, Dynamics, and supply-chain systems.

Qualifications

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

This isn't a figurehead role. You'll take end-to-end responsibility for the technical health of your domain, lead architectural decisions, and stay hands-on with the systems you build. Concretely:

• Own the architecture — event-driven design, scalability, security, and maintainability across your domain, not just on paper
• Solve the hard problems — complex distributed systems challenges, technical risk reduction, and the kind of decisions that actually ship
• Raise the standard — CI/CD, automated testing, clean code, documentation, and pragmatic DevOps practices that the whole team lives by
• Lead on AI — adopt and champion AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Copilot, Antigravity) and set the example for how modern engineering looks
• Build integrations with best-in-class platforms: Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, supply chain systems, OMS, POS and more
• Mentor and align — coach engineers, contribute to chapters, and work closely with Engineering Managers and Architects to keep teams sharp and moving fast
• Keep systems reliable — strong observability, monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response are non‑negotiable
• Secure by design — OAuth, identity‑centric access control, secure secrets management, and cloud‑native security baked in from the start

WHO YOU ARE

You think in systems, communicate in plain language, and lead by doing.

• 5+ years in software engineering, with 2+ years in a comparable technical leadership role
• Deep in our stack: .NET, Azure (Functions, Service Bus, Cosmos DB), event-driven architectures, AI powered development and SaaS integrations
• Architecture‑minded — you simplify complex problems into clear, actionable decisions that product and business stakeholders actually understand
• Bonus: fullstack experience with React, Next.js, and TypeScript
