Job summary

SimaPro is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of about 10 engineers working with React and C#/.NET, focusing on AI-driven development. You will report to the CTO and collaborate with Product and Design to turn the roadmap into scalable software.

This full-time, hybrid role supports candidates based in Amersfoort, Netherlands or Helsinki, Finland, with flexibility in hours and remote options. You will set technical direction, stay close to code, mentor engineers and drive delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years leading or managing engineers.
• Deep hands-on expertise in C#/.NET and React.
• Experience using AI coding tools in a professional team.
• Strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Drive AI-first engineering across the development lifecycle.
• Coach engineers through regular 1:1s and feedback.
• Own architecture for React frontend and .NET backend.
• Stay hands-on with reviews, prototyping, and problem solving.
• Plan and prioritize work to ship features on the roadmap.
• Collaborate with Product, Design and domain experts.
• Improve testing, CI/CD, code quality and security of AI-generated code.
