Get-e is seeking a Head of Engineering in the Netherlands to lead 15+ engineers, align tech with business goals, and drive a high-velocity delivery culture. You will report to the CTO, shape engineering direction, and partner with product and architecture teams to deliver value.

You will manage cross-disciplinary teams (Engineering, DevOps, Data) and collaborate with external suppliers, enjoying a hybrid office-remote schedule and a bias toward practical, business-focused outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support a team of leads and developers (15+), developing leadership capabilities.
• Foster healthy team dynamics, motivation, collaboration, and constructive confrontation when needed.
• Communicate the vision clearly and translate it into actionable daily work; challenge direction when required.
• Collaborate with architect and product teams on scalable, maintainable solutions and backlog planning.
• Manage external IT suppliers and contracts; handle subsidies like WBSO and reporting.
• Drive software engineering practices, code quality, and release management; push continuous improvement.
