Job summary

Riverty is seeking an Engineering Lead (Checkout, Consumer & Merchant) to guide multiple engineering teams across Berlin, Amsterdam and Tallinn. You will own the technical direction, align architecture with product goals and lead delivery at scale.

You’ll coach Engineering Leads, drive standards for quality, security and maintainability, and foster AI-enabled practices while staying compliant in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading engineering teams and developing engineering leaders.
• Broad software engineering and architectural expertise across frontend, backend, data and cloud.
• A product and business mindset translating priorities into technical direction.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management across all levels.
• Demonstrated AI fluency and ability to translate AI opportunities into practice.
• Ability to create alignment in an international environment.
