Job summary

APM Terminals Inland Services Pvt Ltd in The Netherlands is seeking a senior leader to head an engineering squad building Operations Intelligence capabilities, including AI-powered digital twins and integrated planning systems.

You will be hands-on in architecture, review code, and translate a platform roadmap into production systems that boost ROIC across vessel, yard, gate and rail workflows. Strong leadership and cloud/AI experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software or data engineering.
• 3+ years leading engineers who ship AI/ML systems to production with measurable business impact.
• Hands-on in Python/R data science ecosystems, cloud infrastructure and modern MLOps.
• Practical experience with optimization (MILP/CP), simulation, predictive analytics or industrial IoT in logistics, manufacturing or infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead a squad of 6–10 engineers and data scientists, setting priorities and delivery quality.
• Review designs, unblock engineers and make sound build decisions.
• Collaborate with product owners, operations experts and peer squads to land integrated outcomes.
• Translate roadmap into crisp sprint plans and raise risks early.
