Job summary

Huawei Europe in the Netherlands is seeking an Energy Maintenance Engineer (Chinese Speaking) to join as a contractor in Rijswijk. You will lead live network fault resolution for data center power systems, UPS, battery storage, and power electronic products, and participate in preventive maintenance.

The role requires familiarity with EU environmental regulations, knowledge of electrical engineering and power electronics, and fluent Mandarin and English.

Qualifications

• Familiar with EU environmental protection regulations and EPR reporting.
• Background in electrical engineering or related energy/power domains.
• Fluent Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in tackling key live network problems of Data center power supply (UPS, Power module, Temperature Control System), Battery energy storage system and power electronic products, quickly resolve problems, and avoid recurrence.
• Participate in special maintenance activities such as deployment and preventive maintenance inspection to ensure smooth running of products on the live network.
• Develop maintenance platforms and capabilities in data center power domains, and improve the energy storage domain maintenance capabilities.
• Extract and design product/solution version DFX requirements and maintainability requirements in the data center power and energy storage fields, and implement acceptance.
• Lead in designing and implementing digital O&M solutions (IT tools) for data center power supply and energy storage products and improve maintainability.

Main Responsibilities:

• Take the lead in tackling key live network problems of Data center power supply（such as UPS，Power module，Temperature Control System）, Battery energy storage system and power electronic products, quickly resolve problems, and avoid recurrence of problems.

Requirements:

• Familiar with EU environmental protection regulations, especially the process and requirements for reporting carbon emissions and extended producer responsibilities.
• Basic knowledge of new energy related: Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics engineering, temperature control technology engineering, Automation, telecommunication engineering, mechanical engineering, Data center power supply, temperature control and power electronic products.
• Understanding of UPS is preferred.
• Fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written).
