FincoEnergies in Rotterdam, Netherlands, seeks a Commercial Legal Counsel to handle a broad range of commercial and contractual matters across the business. You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, advise on legal risks, and support day-to-day operations.

The role combines hands-on contract work with developing our legal framework and providing pragmatic guidance to management and stakeholders. You will work with colleagues across the organisation, report to Head of Legal & Corporate

Qualifications

• Relevant degree in Law.
• 4 to 7 years of post-qualification experience focused on commercial contracts.
• Experience in (renewable) energy sector preferred.
• Proactive, practical and independent way of working.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate national and international commercial contracts.
• Advise on legal risks, claims and disputes.
• Develop and implement commercial legal framework and policies.
• Identify legal risks and provide practical solutions.
• Support management with liability, warranties and competition law.
• Handle claim management.
• Increase awareness of legal risk across the business.
