OTC Flow, a leading broker in European renewable energy markets, seeks a proactive Legal Officer to provide comprehensive legal support across contracts, compliance and governance. The role is based in Amsterdam and involves close collaboration with the trading desk to enable compliant deal flows.

You will draft and negotiate EFETs and various agreements, advise on regulatory matters in energy trading, and drive policy development while managing cross-border disputes and internal risk controls

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) and Master’s degree in Law (LLM).
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a legal professional, preferably in energy or financial sector.
• Strong knowledge of civil and commercial law, contract law, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to navigate diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and make sound, well-reasoned legal decisions under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Italian or Spanish is a strong asset.

Responsabilidades

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including EFETs, NDAs, brokerage and service agreements.
• Advise on regulatory compliance in energy trading and OTC transactions.
• Develop, implement and maintain company policies, procedures and governance documentation.
• Provide general legal support across employment, corporate, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Support legal assessment and structuring of new business ideas.
• Coordinate dispute resolution and cross-border litigation/arbitration, including communications with external counsel.
