Job summary

Wlgroup in The Hague seeks a data engineer to design and build ETL processes that ingest imagery and reports from diverse networks into our systems. You will make data flows controllable, observable and resilient as a milestone-based, year-long engagement.

You will document source-to-target mappings, build data models and pipelines, and implement change control, monitoring and recovery capabilities. Strong English and collaboration in multinational teams are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to document, configure and test ETL requirements, including source-to-target mapping and traceability.
• Experience building data models, pipelines and schemas from heterogeneous sources.
• Set up configuration control: baselines, versioning, change approvals and rollback.
• Set up monitoring with metrics, alerts, dashboards and logging.

Responsibilities

• Document, configure and test ETL requirements across sources and targets.
• Build data models, pipelines and schemas from multiple data sources.
• Implement configuration control, baselines, versioning and change approvals.
• Set up monitoring, metrics, alerts, dashboards and logging for data flows.
• Design and test resilience: backup/restore, failover and recovery objectives.
• Troubleshoot production data flows and provide training for administrators.
